About LSS
The Melbourne University Law Students’ Society is the main student body in Melbourne Law School. We help you with all aspects of student life, from revision classes to getting a career and having fun.
The aims and purposes of the LSS are:
- To facilitate, encourage and improve the education of law at the University of Melbourne, and in general;
- To promote and publicise the wide range of career opportunities available to law students;
- To represent students in the conditions of graduate employment and professional admission;
- To provide a range of social activities for the benefit of all law students;
- To produce publications to assist in the promotion of these aims, and to provide material of general interest to law students; and
- To promote a commitment to social justice and a critical interest in law and the operation of law in society.
