Pleasant Trivia Nights (PTNs v2)Alright does anyone remember the old PTN Law School tradition that harkens back to the days when handlebar moustaches were cool and everyone was using a Nokia phone? Well if you don’t, throughout the year on a few Thursday nights the LSS would chuck a bucket-load of cash on a tab at a pub, and law students would chill back. Well if anyone read our AWESOME article in the LSS Student Guidebook this year (if you didn’t, shame on you!) we did promise that this tradition would not die out. Well what we’ve done is spiced it up a little, but adding a trivia aspect to it. Instead of paying a small fee for a tab, we now offer you some food throughout the night, and a trivia competition. All this on a Thursday night for $5? Sounds pleasant to me! Look out for more trivia nights at our beloved Queensberry Hotel throughout the year. The first one was a great success in Semester 1, with the inaugural LSS Pleasant Trivia Nights being “The Jimmy Bartel Fan Club”. No, that wasn’t a JD team, they came in 2nd, and weren’t too happy about it either lol! |
