The Great Debate - Law vs Engineering

After lying dormant for over 50 years, 2010 sees the resurrection of the traditional rivalry between the law and engineering faculties in the form of The Great Debate.

The topic will be 'That the 21st century is the age of the machine and not the mind' with the law team debating in the negative.

Melbourne Law School's very own Ian Malkin will be adjudicating, along with a soon-to-be-named notable MLS alumni and a member of the Faculty of Engineering.

Come along for some laughs, as our superior debaters take on the Engines, and join us afterwards for a light lunch, kindly provided by MLS.

When: Wednesday 1 September, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Where: Law Building, room 102

Proudly presented by Simon and Nudge.
