The LSS Careers Portfolio acts as a bridge between the students and different firms and legal professionals. This portfolio serves as a way of communicating knowledge about different legal positions, vacancies, networking opportunities and information about different career pathways. Through coordination with the Law School, the Careers Office, law firms and other external organisations, we will provide a comprehensive array of knowledge and services.

Student Tutorial Service

URGENT 9/5/12

DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, TODAY'S CRIMINAL LAW TUTE WILL NOT RUN.

The LSS provides a voluntary tutorial service to students throughout weeks three—Swotvac. The tutes are aimed at complementing normal classes, and usually provide a broad overview of topics and resolve student’s particular questions and difficulties. The tutes are run by students who have previously studied the subject and achieved outstanding results. Their notes and advice are therefore invaluable! (Just ask anyone that goes). With an even larger intake of JDs in 2012 the challenge will be ensuring as many subjects as possible are covered and we will be working hard to make this happen.

The Student Tutorial Service is sponsored by Minter Ellison, Arnold Bloch Leibler, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Mallesons Stephen Jacques and Leo Cussen Institute.
