Health & Wellbeing
This aspect of the Education portfolio is one that we hope to expand substantially through 2011. We will be producing another edition of the Health and Wellbeing Guidebook which was a hugely successful initiative introduced in 2010. In addition, we will be running a series of health and wellbeing seminars designed to combat the high incidence of depression amongst law students, encourage good mental and physical health. This is a very important aspect of our portfolio in 2011 as we strongly believe that students' health and wellbeing is paramount, and its effect is directly linked to one's education. We will also be working closely with the Activities portfolio to introduce some sports activities.
Law Students’ Guidebook
Over summer we will be putting together a guidebook that has information about both core and optional subjects as well a range of other general informattion aimed at making everyone's lives just that little bit easier! We hope students find it a useful resource in the coming year.
The Law Students’ Guidebook contains information about every aspect of being a law student including subjects, support services and societies that represent you. The 2011 Law Students’ Guidebook will combine information for both LLB and JD students.
If you enjoyed a particular subject this year and can offer some advice and insight, we'd love to hear from you! Each piece should include:

The Book Fairy
Applications are now closed for the Book Fairy 2010. Thanks to everyone who applied and we hope you've enjoyed your visit from the Book Fairy! Stay tuned for when the Book Fairy visits again at the beginning of 2011!
