Competitions Overview
Welcome to LSS Competitions 2010!
We’re Mel Lok & David Park, the Competitions Directors for 2010. We look forward to making 2010 a great year for competitions in the Law School! For those new to the Law School, the LSS runs a variety of legal-style competitions for law students in all stages of their degrees. Even if you are in your final year and have never done a competition before, it is never too late to start!
Why should I do a competition?
- Represent Melbourne University at ALSA if you win the competition.
- Be part of a prestigious competition that is both well recognised and supported by many top legal firms.
- Have fun in your law degree by competing with or against fellow students.
- Great way to make new friends (or maybe even enemies).
- Boost your CV with practical legal skills.
- Gain an insight into many different areas of the law and apply legal knowledge acquired from classes.
- Improve your legal skills and research abilities.
Be sure to check out the 2010 Competitions Guidebook.
If you have any ideas, queries, complaints or compliments about any of the competitions, feel free to send us an email: lss-competitions@unimelb.edu.au.
