Junior Witness Examination

Junior Witness Examination
2008 Coordinator – Romy Faulkner

Are you feeling disillusioned that law school is not, as yet, much like Boston Legal, and you haven’t had the chance to interrogate any witnesses yet? Do you have what it takes to catch a suspected criminal out with a tricky question? Why not give it a go?

Witness Examination is the most fun and entertaining of the law school competitions. One member of your pair will act as counsel and examine the other, who acts as the witness (you can alternate), in relation to an interesting hypothetical scenario. Then, the fun part of cross-examination of the opposing team, before closing statements.

Junior witness will only be open to JD students. You may have a ridiculous amount of reading to do, but if you want a stimulating experience that will complement what you are learning in your law studies, witness is for you.

One thing’s for sure: there is nothing objectionable about Junior Witness Examination.  See you in the first round!
