Senior Witness Examination

Senior Witness Examination

2008 Coordinator – Mandy Zhang

Remember that scene from The Simpsons where Apu was on the stand? Lionel Hutz was in cross examination. Apu alleges he has picture perfect memory. 'What tie am I wearing?' asks Lionel. Apu stares back at him confidently with a slight smile on his expression and monotonously replies in his Indian accent, 'You are wearing a white tie with red stripes'. With his back turned towards Apu, Lionel surreptitiously takes off his tie and shoves it in his sleeve. Turning back, Lionel smugly says, 'I'm wearing no tie!'. The audience hushes in disbelief, 'ohhhhhhhhh!!!'. 'The defence rests.' Lionel happily retreats back to his seat with the tie hanging off the cuffs.

Sound familiar? Well, you can be just like Lionel Hutz in this awesome competition!!

Senior Witness Examination involves a team of two where one is the "Counsel" and the other the "witness" as they respectively examine and be examined by the other team's alter-form. Each team is given a factual account of their stories, including mutual information as well as private information. All you need to do is defeat the other team's case by proving your own.

Sounds exciting? It really is. So hurry up and sign up before your guilty conscience takes over.
