Environment Newsletter

It's at that time of year again when assignments are due and exams are
lurking just around the corner. So, the portfolio will be taking a brief
break over June, but never fear, there's plenty more that will be
happening, starting from July!
Here's a sample of what will be happening:

1. Conservation Trips: A conservation trip is currently being planned for
July.

2. 'Legally Green' Forums: Following the success of the first forum
'Climate Change Litigation', two more will be held in this year. The first
one will be about the Port Phillip Dredging Case, and the second... ah
wait and see, it will be exciting I assure you!

3. 'Know your Environment' Tour: Essentially, this is an introduction to
learning about our green surroundings, that is, what are the names and
'characters' of the grasses, trees and bushes that surround us? The tour
will be led by the University's horticulture students.

4. Monthly Environment Collective dinners: Meet like-minded law students
from around the faculty at collective dinners!
