LSS Movember!
Greetings boys and girls!
This Movember the LSS will be doing its bit to raise awareness and support for prostate cancer and men's depression. To do this we are gathering all the Mo Bros and Mo Sistas together to form a kick-ass Melbourne Law School team.
For all of us, Movember will be the month of dreaded swot vac and exams. For many of the guys this will typically involve going a month without shaving anyway. It's inevitable. If you want to avoid being called a mooching student slob by your parents and loved ones, the LSS recommends joining the LSS Movember team and using your sexy Mo hair to help raise funds for charity. Your Mo will transform from a shameful icon of laziness to a bat-symbol of good-will and charity.
What is it for?

All money raised from the LSS Movember will be donated to BeyondBlue, the national depression initiative, and and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

For the Boys

For the Mo Bros, we suggest you get MOving and register online at au.movember.com. When you register you can choose to join our team: Melbourne University Law Student Society (MULSS). All you have to do is make sure you start Movember clean shaven, maintain your lush man-hair for 30 days and collect any donations you can before the 30 days is up.
For the Girls

For the Mo Sistas, we suggest that despite your (hopefully) physical incapacity to actually grow a mo you jump on board and register at the Movember website (au.movember.com). Not only can you keep up with the progress of all the Mo Bros, you can use it to help encourage all us Mo Fellas and help raise awareness and funds through word of mouth. Perhaps even convince your own man to grow a fine Mo?
How to Donate

All funds collected will be handed over to the Movember organization at the end of the month. Donations can be made either in cash to a Mo Bro, handed in at the LSS office, donated by Credit Card online at au.movember.com. If you can't decide who to give the money to, no matter, just simply donate it to the team online.
Search for either your preferred team member or for the Melbourne University Law Student Society and donate to the team. Donate however much, or little, you want - it all goes to a great cause!
Prizes and the End of Exams!

Now in case the warm fuzzy feeling of helping a charity isn't enough to convince you to join in, the LSS will be celebrating the end of Movember at the LSS End of Exams Party! There will be prizes for Mo Bros (or Sistas) who raise the most money and prizes to recognise the great variety of Mo's that will be on display.
So get on it, burn your razor and unleash your inner Mo!
