LSS Newsletter - Week 2 (2008)Hello, Thankyou to everybody who came along to the LSS BBQ last week. Getting through 600 sausages, 120 vege burgers/sausages, many slabs and drinks showed that a huge amount of law students came along and added to the atmosphere on a great day. Thanks also to Prof Hathaway, the new Dean of the Law School who kindly joined us at the BBQ. There is a huge amount going on in and around the LSS and the Law School at the moment. This email is pretty long, but I’d highly recommend you at least scan all the way through it as there is such a diverse range of magnificent opportunities available to Melbourne Law students. Particularly, I’d like to bring your attention to 1. The fact that nominations are open for 4 more days for JD reps and Final Year reps to the LSS, 2. The many functions taking place in the Careers Portfolio, including the Practical Skills Seminars, starting today, and 3. The opening of registration for all LSS competitions for 2008.
