What is ALSA Conference?
The Australian Law Students’ Association annual Conference has been touted as ‘the most fun a law student can possibly have during their university life’. ALSA Conference 2010 in Adelaide and it is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet. It will take place on 12-18 July. The Conference will see over 500 law students converge to attend the biggest social events, most prestigious competitions, and most stimulating educational forums. Delegates will attend the Opening Gala Dinner, Cocktail Night, Themed Night, and Closing Gala Dinner as well as a battle of the bands, movie nights, quiz nights, wine tours, brewery tours, the Amazing Race Adelaide. We will also have educational forums on pressing legal issues - animal law, global poverty, refugee law and responding to international conflict. LSS Subsidies
This year, in an effort to help students to have the opportunity to attend, the LSS will be subsidising the cost of general delegate registration for a number of students. Registration cost is $740, which includes accommodation but not flights. With an LSS subsidy, you will only pay $500.

Applications for subsidies open at 1pm on Tuesday 20th April. Please apply by emailing lss-president@unimelb.edu.au. Up to 15 people will be subsidised, so apply quickly if so you don’t miss this fabulous opportunity to attend an event which is sure to be a memorable part of your law degree.
