The Annual Sir Anthony Mason Lecture 2011
On behalf of the Melbourne University Law Students' Society, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 2011 Sir Anthony Mason Lecture.
The Lecture was inaugurated in 1995, the year of Sir Anthony Mason's retirement as Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia. It serves to celebrate his outstanding contribution to the legal profession and the common law of Australia, as well as offering the opportunity for students to meet and listen to those who have helped to shape the law as we study it. It is one of the most significant events of the MULSS calendar and in particular for the Education Portfolio.
Topic: 'Proportionality - A Rule of Reason'
The Lecture will be followed by a function on Level 1 of the Law School.
