Melbourne Uni Law Comedy Revue Auditions!

It's that time of year... Melbourne Uni Law Comedy Revue auditions are here again so if you think you're funny, here's your chance to prove it.

 

The Melbourne Uni Law Comedy Revue (simply, The Law Revue) is a long-running sketch comedy show that dates back to the early 1980s & has started the career of people like The D-Gen, Mick Molloy, Magda Szubanski, and more recently Sammy J, Ant Simpson & Celia Pacquola.

 

Auditions are on the following dates, which aren't far off so if you're not auditioning yourself, but know of funny, talented people who might be interested please encourage them to try out!

•              Wednesday 14 April, 1-3pm, Room 831, Melbourne Uni Law Building

•              Friday 16 April, 1-4pm, Room 224, Melbourne Uni Law Building

 

What should you bring?

Come prepared with one written sketch for submission & one written sketch for performance.

 

What if you don't think I'm funny?

Then we probably won't contact you for a callback audition BUT if we do think you're funny (and chances are that we may) we'll invite you to a callback audition on the following dates:

 

•              Monday 19 April and/or Tuesday 20 April

 

If all goes well from there the first rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday 22 April, so it may be a busy week!

 

So, please come down & audition, or invite your funny friends & remember all are welcome!
