Purely Dicta - call for submissions
Do you want to contribute to Melbourne Law School's premier student publication?
Purely Dicta is currently inviting contributions from the broader student body. These contributions can be in various forms, such as letters to the editor, stand-alone articles, comics, and general rants about the Melbourne Law School. These can be either academic in nature, or simply social commentary.
Your contribution could join a long line of published pieces which in the past have been produced by some of our most eminent law school alumni, including our Dean, Professor Carolyn Evans, when she was a student! Purely Dicta articles have even made the pages of The Age in recent times.
Our next edition will feature a "For and Against" debate series which will include issues such as the merits of establishing a Lawyers Union and the perennial Melbourne vs Monash Law School debate. It will also feature a piece written by a Melbourne Comedy Festival comedian, Law Ball's top 10 best dressed, and many more.
So if you have a desire to sharpen your argumentative nous, a knack for humour, or an eye for the outrageous, then please do get in touch at lss-purelydicta@unimelb.edu.au.
Submission deadline closes April 28.
