Want to improve your legal research and writing skills?

Lunchtime seminars on legal research and writing: academic integrity and avoiding plagiarism

Laura Griffin, from the Legal Academic Skills Centre, will run mid-semester lunchtime seminars for JD students who are writing legal research essays in Semester 2. Each seminar will cover the expectations for research essays, including the importance of independent scholarship and academic integrity.

Laura will explain the practical skills involved, such as finding appropriate materials and using them to create your own argument, written in your own words. These are essential skills for all JD graduates, whether you intend to enter legal practice, the world of business, or another career path.
