Witness Examination Grand Final - This Thursday!

When: Thursday 17 September
Time: 6:30pm
Where: Federal Court

Come join us this Thursday evening at the final of the largest and most challenging competition offered by Melbourne University Law Students’ Society, judged by the esteemed Justice Gordon.

A pool of almost 200 competitors has been whittled down to just four. Julian Lacota and Brendan Law will act as prosecution, with Frankey Chung and Simin Ngan as defence.

What’s that I hear you ask? Does one need to understand obscure points of law about mushrooms in order to make sense of what's going on? I'm glad you asked that question. Actually, Witness Exam tests advocacy skills rather than legal research. Remember all the tv shows which made you want to do law in the first place? That’s what Witness Exam is all about.

The competition will kick off at 6:30pm. Food and Drinks will be provided afterwards at The Mint.
